Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. Her style is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. Her first review was at the end of 2009 when she became popular on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be part of on the Channel Awesome team. In early 2015, she joined the website while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In 2009, after reviewing films, she gained fame in the forums of Channel Awesome. Prior to becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
