Toni Collette is an Australian actor who gained notoriety through the comedy-drama movie Muriel's Wedding in 1994 and was later recognized with the mystery thriller The Sixth Sense . Since then, the actress has worked in numerous films, including The Hours, Japanese Story, About a Boy, Little Miss Sunshine, The Way, Way Back, Knives Out and Hereditary. Her work on television in United States of Tara, Wanderlust and the miniseries Unbelievable has earned the actress a great deal of acclaim. Toni Collette is not only an actress on film and television however, she has been in stage productions, including Uncle Vanya or King Lear. The actress's Broadway debut was with The Wild Party in 2000. Alongside her numerous honors, she's been involved in TV, films and the stage. These include the following: five AACTA Awards, one Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. She has spent most of her life in her hometown of Falls Church. In her early years, she began to develop an interest in acting and the arts during her time at Washington School of Ballet. It was her first time performing in a dance class. very successful, as she appeared in several school plays. As she was in high school, she took part in each musical that her school staged which is the time she started acting instead of dancing. She also earned her Equity card in an annual summer show of Aida. When she graduated, she enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University where she studied drama but didn't finish her studies as after two years, she decided to drop out in order to pursue a professional acting career. Louisa was brought up in an extended family of four. Lida Jane Wright is American and Robert Henry Krause is half Japanese. Nathaniel Krause has been a director for a film company. In her spare time she likes to spend it with her family, whether it's a trip to the forest or barbecuing. She loves her brother so many times that she's purchased an apartment for him close to her to make it easier to visit. Louisa Krause Carrier At first she wasn't doing it to earn the money.
