Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally from Vermont. Her comedy has been described as surprisingly funny and not even that preposterous by people from all over America. She writes and creates material for Riot Fest: The Hard Times as well as Macaulay's Bunny Ears. Anya Taylor-Joy is the half English/half Spanish sister of Dennis Alan Taylor who was an ex-banker during his previous job as well as Jennifer Marina Joy. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English descent. Her mother is of Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and she was unable to study English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being forced to change schools. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's dramas. At the age of 16 she decided to leave school to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to be a professional actress was born at an early age.
