The adoptive parents are American white with military training and her mother is Filipino. The woman claims she and her adopted brother were subjected to abuse since she was a child until she enlisted. After a brief stay at San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass procedure. Physical abuse stopped in the end, however the father continued to psychologically abuse her in the home. After turning 18 she joined her first service in the United States Navy. Poarch created her TikTok profile in April 2020. Within a short time, she had more than forty million fans.
